Monthly Art, Crystal & Decor Online Auctions
become one of our selected VIP-CUSTOMERS and get unrestricted access to our online auctions:
a GREAT OPPORTUNITY to buy UNIQUE PIECES
What are gemrocks online auctions?
Once a month we are organizing a live online auction of selected high quality art-works, decor pieces and natural crystals for a limited group of customers. The required minimum offers for the pieces are generally 30% below our retail prices, thus being an incredible opportunity to get a masterpiece or an incredible crystal for a very good price.
How it works:
Interested buyers must become registered bidders. All registered bidders will be invited to the auctions and will receive a list of auction objects via email, as well as their password to enter the live-auction. They will also get pictures and video-footage of the auction objects. During the virtual auction we will show each object live and then open the bidding process. Bidders will make their offer in the chat of the video conference.
How to register as a bidder?
We have to make sure that only real people and serious bidders will become registered and invited, so that auctions wont´ be disturbed by fake bidders, “funny” people of all sorts or any other person not really being interested in bidding. This is why we are asking you to take on the pain of three step registration process:
1.) Subscribe below to the auction subscriber list. As an auction subscriber you will receive our auction newsletter with information on the objects of the auctions. But you are not yet a registered bidder. In order to register as a bidder you will receive an email from us after subscribing.
2.) Once subscribed to the auction newsletter we will send you an email asking you to fill out a form with your personal information and to send us a picture of your identification documents. Your information will be reviewed by our staff, to make sure you are a real person.
3.) Once your information has been reviewed and you have been approved you will receive another email from us in order to subscribe yourself to the list of registered bidders. Only if you are subscribed to this list you will receive an invitation to the auctions.
How we do inform you about the next auction?
All auctions and most of the auction objects will be announced up to a month before the auction on this web-page. However as a auction list subscriber (step one of the registration process) you will receive per email detailed and final information on the next auction one week before the auction. This gives you enough time to still register as a bidder in case you did not yet do so. Also you have an entire week of time in order to review the auction information and send us any question you have regarding the objects of the next auction.
How long does it take to register?
You will receive our registry email inmediately after subscribing to the auction information list (below) and after confirming your subscription to this list. Then it depends on you when you fill out the form for registration as a bidder. You can do it inmediately or whenever in the future you wish. Once you have sent us the filled out form as well as a picture of your documents, we will take up to 72 hours to review your information. If you want to take part in a certain auction and are not yet a registered bidder we do reccommend that you start your registration process at least one week before the next auction.
How is the auction process?
Auctions are live. Bidders will enter a live video conference. At the beginning of the auction we will read the auction rules to all bidders present. Then we will present the first object and describe it shortly. During the time when the object is presented and up to 1 minute after the description of the object at least one bidder must bid the minimum amount for this object. If no bidder offers, the object will not be auctioned but might be included into the next auction again. If one bidder offers the minimum amount, the bidding process begins and may take a maximum time of ten minutes if bidders keep bidding. The maximum number of objects per auction is limited to 10. And the total auction time is maximum 2 hours. In case the auction ends before all objects have been auctioned, those remaining items will be included in the next auction.
Payment and shipping logistics
The winning bidder will be contacted by our logistics staff in order to provide all the payment options. Once the payment was made and confirmed our logistics staff will help the buyer to organize shipping and manage any insurance issues. In case the winning bidder should not make the payment, he will be banned from future auctions and the object will be offered to the second highest bidder. In case the second highest bidder has no interest in the object anymore, the object will be included again into the next auction.
When is the next auction?
Auctions will be held on a weekend close to mid-month. Given the fact that we have bidders from all around the world and therefore from very different time zones, the auctions will be held at early mornings in Australia, afternoon in South- and North-America and late night in Europe, which is why we are holding the auctions on a saturday. This way most people wont have a conflict with their working hours and the European bidders have the chance to rest on sunday after a late night session the day before.
Next auction date: 17.07.2021
